What this covers

This policy explains what data Citalis (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit trycitalis.com or the Citalis dashboard, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of this marketing site and to Citalis dashboard accounts.

Data we collect

Information you give us directly. When you request an audit or book a demo, we collect your name, work email, and the business website you enter. If you create a dashboard account, we collect your login credentials (via Supabase Auth) and the business details you provide during onboarding.

Information collected automatically. When you browse this site, our analytics provider (PostHog) records page views, interactions like button clicks and which sections you scroll to, and standard technical data (browser, device type, approximate location derived from IP, referring page). This uses cookies and local storage. See “Cookies” below.

How we use it

  • To respond to audit requests and demo bookings you submit.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site and the dashboard product.
  • To understand which parts of the site are useful (aggregate analytics) so we can improve them.
  • To send you information you've asked for (e.g. a calendar invite after booking a demo).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for purposes beyond what's listed here without asking you first.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site: PostHog for analytics, Supabasefor dashboard authentication, and, if you submit the audit or demo forms, whatever scheduling/CRM tool we've configured to receive that lead (so a real person can follow up with you). We don't share your data with anyone else, and none of these services are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Cookies

This site uses cookies/local storage set by PostHog to recognize repeat visits and measure how the site is used. These are analytics cookies, not advertising cookies. We don't use your browsing data to target ads. You can block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though we won't be able to tell repeat visits apart from new ones.

Your rights

Wherever you're located, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data (subject to what we need to keep for legal/accounting reasons).
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Opt out of analytics tracking.

To exercise any of these, email hello@trycitalis.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU/UK, these rights are guaranteed under GDPR/UK GDPR; if you're a California resident, under the CCPA. We apply the same rights to everyone regardless of where you live.

Data retention

We keep lead data (from audit/demo form submissions) as long as it's useful for following up with you, or until you ask us to delete it. Dashboard account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Analytics data is retained per PostHog's standard retention window.

Children

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
